Skating Rink “Umka”

In the new season the administration of the rink prepared a pleasant surprise for the guests – bright and dynamic light provided by the company Lightek. Initially the skating rink was illuminated by three-color floodlights, luminous flux of which was extremely low, lamps were expensive, and their service life in such conditions was minimal. Therefore the administration decided to upgrade the lighting system of the institution to lower the operating cost and obtain modern dynamic lighting.

The Lightek specialists had to find a compromise between the limited budget and the special requirements for the quality of the lighting fixtures, as well as to reduce the cost of their operation. In addition, the new spotlights had to provide full color uniform illumination of the ice rink, excluding the heating of the dome of the building. At the same time, the tight schedule did not allow us to upgrade the dome to fully equip it with the required number of fixtures.

Thanks to the professionalism of the engineers of our company a compromise was reached. The task started with the selection of the right equipment – FREE COLOR lights fully met the requirements of the given task.
